DC lineup: Superman (George Newburn), Batman (Kevin Conroy), Wonder Woman (Susan Eisenburg), Flash (Taliesin Jaffe), Green Lantern (Steve Blum), Aquaman (Phil LaMarr), Nightwing (Sean Maher), Beast Boy (Greg Cipes), Raven (Tara Strong), Starfire (Kari Wahlgren), Cyborg (Khary Paton), Robin (Scott Porter), Joker (Mark Hamill), Darkseid (Michael-Leon Wooley), Deathstroke (Ron Pearlman), Shazam (Joey Naber) Marvel lineup: Captain America (Brian Bloom), Iron Man (Erik Loomis), Thor (Travis Willingham), Hulk (Fred Tatasciore), Spider-Man (Josh Kenton), Black Panther (James C Mathis III), Storm (Susan Dalian), Wolverine (also Steve Blum), Cyclops (Nolan North), Dark Phoenix (Jennifer Hale), Nightcrawler (Liam O'Brien), Shadowcat (Danielle Judovits), Captain Marvel (Grey DeLisle), Scarlet Witch (Kate Higgins), Carnage (Michael Donovan), Dr. Doom (Paul Dobson), Sentinel (who cares) Storyline (based loosely on JLA/Avengers, Uncanny X-Men/New Teen Titans and Batman/Spider-Man crossovers): Krona travels through the multiverse seeking the truth of creation, destroying universes in his path. One of these universes happens to be the Marvel Universe. The Grandmaster, not wishing for his universe to be destroyed, suggests a contest where his universe's greatest champions (the Avengers) face off against Krona's greatest champions, (the JLA). If he wins, his universe is spared. If he loses, he will lead Krona to Galactus, who has witnessed the creation of universes. Krona agrees, on the condition they switch teams. The JLA and Avengers are manipulated to believe the other side is planning on destroying their universe, and they duly fight, with the end result being about a 50/50 split. While all of this is going on, the Joker and Carnage team up to murder people. Spider-Man and Robin team up to stop this, with Robin defeating Carnage and Spider-Man defeating the Joker. Pete is somewhat upset when Damian kills Cletus but gets over it because come on, it's Carnage. Meanwhile, the X-Men receive visions of the recently deceased Jean Grey pleading for help while Raven informs the rest of the Titans about a vision of a big flaming bird killing the universe. The two parties investigate, and after an initial misunderstanding and scuffle agree to team up after they are jumped by Deathstroke, who has been conscripted by Darkseid to eliminate the heroes. The X-Men and Titans discover that Darkseid led Krona to the Marvel Universe in order to create a distraction while he harvested the energies of the Dark Phoenix so he could resurrect and enthrall her as part of his plans for multiversal domination. They rush to the JLA and Avengers and inform them of this development. Everyone agrees to put aside their differences and stop the bad guys. Iron Man's Phoenix-Buster armor is destroyed by Dark Phoenix, who is then defeated by Raven who uses her empathic abilities to supercharge her powers by drawing on Cyclops' love for Jean Grey. A now-purified Phoenix turns on Darkseid and crucifies him on the Source Wall. However, as a result of the space-time shenanigans, the two universes have merged and Marvel and DC heroes must now share the same earth. Superman proceeds to solve the mutant problem by ripping the Sentinels apart with his bare hands and then lectures the Avengers that injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere. Later, it is revealed that Dr. Doom has used some kind of sorcerous device to absorb the energies from the Source Wall incident into his new God Doom armor. Doom defeats Superman, but is vanquished by Shazam who lacks Superman's vulnerability to magic. Doom is distraught to discover he was vanquished by a literal child and is ruthlessly mocked in jail until he cries by Beast Boy, Robin, and Spider-Man. Roll credits. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 18 Jul 2021 05:13 PM PDT Hello all and welcome to the first week of Journey to 30!!! I'm very excited to be doing this as I've become quite addicted to Injustice 2 recently and my schedule is open to do this kinda stuff now! So the first character I have chosen to run the 30 on is Atom! Atom was released in Fighter Pack 3, the first of the three in fact to come out! My first experience with Atom was Brandon Routh's in Legends of Tomorrow, which I loved and was super into a more scientifically explained Ant Man with the smarts to boost! As this week goes on, my main strategy to playing Atom will be to go through the most multiverses as possible with him and in down time, I'll be taking him through Endless mode. Around Wednesday, I'll update this week with my thoughts on his playstyle, the gear and abilities I've found and including a picture of where he is! So stay tuned and be ready to hear thoughts!
