Multiverse is unstable?

I grinded the game about a year ago then stopped playing. Came back cause it's on Gamepass and one of the best features of this game was the multiverse stuff but it just keeps saying it's unstable and to try again later? Is it only available during certain times cause I don't remember this happening?

Hello everyone, I never have played Injustice 2 but since it came out on game pass, I'm trying it out. I rarely play fighting games, except My Hero One's Justice. Is this game hard to learn and which DLC characters are worth buying? I'm definitely getting Darkseid though.
