Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Damien, and brainwashed Batman start rebuilding their regime. They capture Supergirl as seen in the ending. They go to the prison where their allies are being held. The regime kills anyone who refuses to work with them again, like Hawkgirl. Sinestro escapes and reforms the legion of doom. He doesn't want to live under Superman's rule again. The Insurgents are rescued by Zatanna and she keeps them protected in the Tower of Fate. Martian Manhunter returns from hiding with a plan to defeat Superman once and for all. Meanwhile, Nekron is rising to power. He has sent Black Hand to resurrect the fallen heroes to build an undead army. The Black Lanterns would include Shazam, Joker, Beast Boy, Hawkgirl, Huntress, and Dick Greyson. Superman is haunted by their presence. Parentheses are my reasoning. First 11 are the "staples".
