A Whole Nother Level! Posted: 25 Oct 2020 02:02 PM PDT I've been playing Injustice 2 for about 3 months now, almost 4. In that time, I have put together a pretty solid profile. So much so, that people I have met online appear to be impressed. Almost all my characters are at level 30 with the best gear sets and augments. And now I am adding a Legendary piece of gear every two weeks. I already posted my tips for legendary gear and had I figured it out sooner, I would be adding a piece weekly. 250 pieces of rare of better gear for a character is a serious grind and my suggestion to anyone considering it is start banking those pieces as soon as you hit level 20. Otherwise the task could take you a week if not two easy as a casual player. I know there are a ton of videos out there from reputable people, but unlike those 20 minute videos, I won't ramble, I won't tease and I'll get right to the point. Here are my tips for leveling up as fast as possible. Use AI. I knew I wanted to level up, how can you compete online unless you character is stacked. I made a choice to use AI, level up to 30, then learn the moves so I can compete online. I won't lie, at first I was getting mopped, but strong build and augmented set quickly made it easy for me to have a fighting chance. I get better every day and can now play with confidence with at least 3 characters. I am often asked by the most die hard players how I got a such a stacked player and it's because of this tip sheet XP Boost, this is probably the most underrated Augment. I try to have at least an XP boost of 7% or more on each piece of gear, unless it has an unmatched augment like Arena Transition. That will give you on average a boost of 30% on level gains, so for people that didn't pay attention in math. A comparable player has just passed level 20, you would be at about level 27 and on your way to 30. Get XP boost above 9% and you would pretty much be at 30 when most hit 20 and pay attention to gear set. Some have XP boost. I'd suggest a high XP boost over a more powerful build. The AI fighter will get the job done, so do yourself a favor. At one point, I had Brainiac leveling up every 3-4 matches, It was crazy fast. Join an active Guild. There are too many advantages to a Guild to list, but here are a few of mine. The Guild I am in finishes the Guild Multiverse weekly. That puts at least 50 high value Mother Boxes in my bank. Boxes that have valuable gear, shaders and abilities. As you complete Guild Multiverse tiers, you unlock buffs. Most are related to the Guild, but I have seen XP boost for the multiverse and even a double reward buff that doubles Mother Box drops. The Guild doubles opportunities to level up since there it's own Multiverse. You won't get character specific events, but some characters have Guild specific requirement for Legendary Gear, so get crackin'! Last and my favorite, you meet really cool people who will help and mentor you if you ask. Pay Attention to Multiverse Objectives. At first I just used to blow through events. Once I started paying attention, I saw I got rewards for using a specific characters, focused on specific moves or avoided moves, or achieved a certain score. In many cases the objective bonus are better than the standard Multiverse rewards, so make sure you follow the guidelines. Get to know the schedule. The old me would have said do every event. But the seasoned me says know the schedule. By knowing the schedule of when events refresh, you can check the Multiverse to see if there is something you are passionate about. I think an hour of doing what you love is far better than 2-3 of mediocrity. I used to see events I liked, but had to skip them because I knew it would take an hour, but there was only 40 minutes before it expired. Since I wouldn't get the bonuses I wanted, I just elected to pick something else, or come back in 40 minutes to see what the replacement event would be. Knowing the schedule allows me to be there in enough time to see events and decide which of any I want to tackle. Last would be Rinse and Repeat. For example if you like The Flash and there is a Flash event. Don't just do it once. Repeat it. The Flash Event will drop Flash gear and if you are trying to improve you character, you are killing two birds with one stone. You are leveling up and stacking gear. That gear will come in handy, either to wear, regen, or to sacrifice, so I suggest you take advantage. Be mindful, some events or part of events can't be repeated, but I would still milk any part of a character specific event if you intend to level or play that character. Doesn't matter if you are level 5 or level 25, get on this program and you'll have a maxed out character in a week and if you decided to grind all day, you will be easily most of the way there if you focus on a single character. submitted by /u/BadSportAbort [link] [comments] |
I'm surprised NRS never decided to release the Demon Shader Pack for individual purchase Posted: 25 Oct 2020 03:12 PM PDT Even now, it's still locked behind the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Pack. I don't think the Legendary Edition even has it. Why is this the case? I hope they'll release it for everyone at some point. submitted by /u/theTRUEchamp [link] [comments] |
How do you jump well with dpad? Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:51 PM PDT SO, I've been getting back into this game, forgot how fun it was, and I seem to have lost a lot of my ability in the time I haven't played. I would like to take this as a bit of a fresh start, and maybe be better than I was last time There were a lot of combos that I struggled quite a lot with, that required precise inputs (for Robin, who I mained , the overhead-low combo was one which I simply avoided because I couldn't execute it, even though it's really cool) I've heard that dpad is much better than analog for this game, and that's going to be one hard change, considering how much time I invested into the analog with this. Only issue is, jumping forward and backward seems so much more difficult! Anyone else have any experience with this/think it's worth sticking to analog? submitted by /u/hskywalker98 [link] [comments] |
