My first Character Ranking/Review! Tonight’s review is the classic Batman!

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 10:14 PM PDT

Batman is a cool character to have in everybody's roster. His unique passives and frequently changed SP1 have rose to the top especially with the release of 'newer' Batman's like Flashpoint and Lord Ninja.

They're ranked in the order they're placed! Going from worst to best!

    Batman/Insurgency

Passive: Batman's basic attacks deal 300% more damage if the opponent is stunned.

Review: While having a semi-okay passive. His low damage stats and the fact that his two hit Explosive Batarang only has a chance to stun make him a low tier character.

    Batman/Beyond

Passive: Batman is immune to stun.

Review: While his passive seemed a little promising when he was first released into the game, it's very unnoticeable unless you weren't blocking or are going up against a luchador Bane which in the case you're dead because of how low his stats are. Furthermore, his design is very creepy but that's just my opinion.

    Batman/Prime

Passive: Batman and his teammates deal 25% damage.

Review: Prime Batman is an awesome character to have as a beginning player and while he's rivaled by Animated Harley Quinn and even WW600 due to the extra power generation, his passive can be a game changer in terms of low stat characters. While he is a an okay card his low stats do hurt his popularity as a card and he isn't very good for long term gameplay.

    Batman/Red Son

Passive: Batman and his teammates have an unblockable chance on Special 1.

Review: Red Son Batman is usually hated or at least disliked mainly for his low stats but if you have him geared correctly he's a pretty good character who's very underrated on a Red Son team. While Superman and Wonder Woman can chain their SP1 from their heavy combos, Green Lantern and Deathstroke/Solomon Grundy can utilize their strong SP1's as the unblockable chance is pretty high! Furthermore, the fact that his SP1 has a chance to stun at the end and is two hits means the chance for unblockable and stun can be an instant death setup.

    Batman/Arkham Origins

Passive: Batman starts with 2 bars of power

Review: While being a game changer in terms of fast online matches and a lethal SP2 if used right. His passive on paper looks awesome and while it's been nerfed to only start with 2 bars of power, when used correctly you can knockout a character very early. The main thing with his SP2 is that it's not a perfect Special that can be chained. It kind of has to be timed precisely and then you have the unfair AI which can block even if they're mid-combo ender. His stats are okay and nothing game changing but as newer Batman cards have been introduced, his popularity has lowered.

    Batman/Blackest Night

Passive: Batman deals more damage as his opponents health depletes. Blackest Night teammates have a 10% chance of unblockable with each Blackest Night member on your team.

Review: A great character on a Blackest Night team especially with his unblockable chances for his teammates and himself. While Superman is a more popular character on a BN Team (assuming most people run Hawkgirl and Flash) Blackest Night Batman offers synergy with his team wide passive that BN Martian Manhunter and Doomsday don't. If you played with him when he was first released (Original Passive: Batman deals more damage between midnight and sunrise) then you know he was very bad and the buff he was given was much needed. He has a high damage stat and an alright health stat so if you don't have Superman, you'll find good value for him!

    Batman/Beyond Animated

Passive: Upon Special Attack use Batman recieves a boost to all special attacks. SP1 Increases basic damage. SP2 increases crit chance. Super move increased crit damage.

Review: A rare and fun addition to any team. Not only is he easily able to be geared (His bat mobile is a perfect gear) his pretty high stats and boost with his special attacks are very versatile and strong on their own. His SP1 is another unique "Explosive Batarang" as it only hits once and has a different animation. He is a rare card to obtain but he's a very fun card to use if you own him. Overall you'll find more fun while using him even if there's better Batman's out there!

    TOP 5

    Batman/Dawn Of Justice

Passive: Chance to evade special attacks and 100% stun when counterattacking.

Review: A debatable placement. I considered DoJ and the next Batman pretty thoughtfully but found him more fitting to be in the top 5 as his passive is very annoying (but still a great passive that activates more in one game than Wally West's in five online matches with a full rebirth team) with his fine stats the only thing preventing me from putting him higher is because of how basic he is. As a "newer batman card" he deserved something more than the same basic batman that's been overused since the beginning of Injustice. Although he was one of the (if not) first Batman's to utilize the newer Explosive Batarang that hits 7 times instead of twice (or in ABB's case once).

    Batman/Arkham Knight

Passive: Batman activates two Waynetech boosts of his choice when engaging with the enemy. (Power Drain Immunity, DOT Immunity, Critical Immunity, Special 1 Damage Boost, Critical Damage Boost, and/or 2 Bars of Power)

Review: One of the best Batman's and rarest out of all. His passive is another 'fun' type of passive that can be played around with and also change the game as a team revolving around DOT or even a Flashpoint team with FP Bats can become more than useless with his immunity to the respective traits. While his stats are lower than DoJ, he makes up for it in the form of his passive and his very strong SP2 which does the most damage on its last hit (effectively countering passives like Raven/Prime). Good on his own or with an Arkham team that can further increase his synergy with other teammates.

    TOP 3

    Batman/Gaslight

Passive: Batman evades enemy Tag-In attacks, and has a high chance to throw a Grenade that causes BURNING upon enemy Tag-In. On teammate Tag-In, a Swarm of Bats attacks the enemy which causes DAMAGE-OVER-TIME and a chance for the enemy Basic Attacks to MISS for 6 seconds.

Review: While Batman Gaslight boasts strong equal stats (1400/1400) and his passive is a game changer to the likes of Cassandra Cain Batgirl or even a basic tag-team. (Not to mention the annoying animation that plays 99% of the time when you tag in) He finds his use on any team when effectively geared correctly and can be a deadly situation to go against. His SP1 was also (previously) the first and only SP1 of Batman's to cause bleeding damage which was even more deadly as bleeding attacks deal 20% more damage against an opponent.

    Batman/Batman Ninja

Passive: When outnumbered, Batman receives 50% less damage and is immune to LIFEDRAIN. Batman Ninja teammates get +20% critical chance, and all teammates gain +50% power generation from critical hits.

Review: While Batman Ninja is a force to be reckoned with with his SP1 bleed and his passive that can make him immune to almost any attacks. He thrives mostly on being on a Batman Ninja team and mainly alone. As controversial as him deserving the number one spot could be, if one puts into consideration how distinctive his passive works when he's alone and how that's a bigger danger when facing against a full team of 3 despite 50% damage reduction it seems more likely Batman Ninja is a more friendly asset although his strong SP2 is one of the best SP2's hands down.

    Number One!

    Batman/Flashpoint

Passive: Batman's Special Attacks turn off all aspects of healing. Flashpoint characters on Batman's Team have a chance to deal increased CRIT DAMAGE.

Review: While also thriving off a Flashpoint team, which has become one of the most dangerous and overcoming teams in the online season meta, Batman's basic attacks along with his three hit combo ender and special attacks all have a chance at dealing 2x more critical damage. It is almost essential to have critical gear and augments on Batman and most Flashpoint teams thrive off his chance to deal increased critical damage because of how overpowering it is when used correctly. While his SP2 is one of the worst for a Batman card, his easy strategy to use allows for quick matches with punishing damage. 2x Critical Damage and a stun on SP1 is never a sunny day for any opponent trying to go against a Flashpoint Batman!

p.s thank you for making it all the way to here! any constructive criticism and feedback is greatly appreciated as this was my first post on this and while there are 12 Batman cards in the game which is why this post is super long I also just wanna know if you enjoyed and it and what I could change to possibly make it better for you guys! :)

What the actual fuck is going on here?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 04:32 AM PDT

Would anyone be open to a set of character rankings based on how they work?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 07:13 PM PDT

It would kind of be similar to the Best Batman poll that's going around but with more explanation and in depth about a character and it'd be ranking them based on all their copies (ex; ranking all the WW from worst to best, etc)

I've got a lot of free time on my hands due to Covid-19 and would love to just do something like this :)

If the majority decides yes I'm putting down a choice on what characters I should rank first.

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 11:51 PM PDT

I used to play this game a lot but haven't played in about 2 or 3 years and I'm getting back into it. just wondering which nth metal packs are the best values/best rarity chances

e.g. is it better to save up for the 800 or get 2 400 packs?

The Joker Unhinged / Suicide Squad

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 03:50 PM PDT

Is This card worth investing in? I'm in the top 1% and definitely planning on grinding until the mp season is over, and I was wondering if I should promote this card to E2 or sell the extra two copies once the mp season is over.

Why is AI DOT > Player DOT

    Posted: 30 Mar 2020 03:27 PM PDT

Just played an online battle against a Lord Joker who was able to effectively deplete all my health with DOT within like a second. He was equipped with Assassin Adept Blade, Quake Engine and Astro.

Decided to try and copy my opponents exact set up myself and try it out. Yet I couldn't replicate the massive DOT at all.

    It's rather unfair.
