Challange reset not working / gear locker worth buying?

I'm trying to reset the challenge and followed a method I found on YouTube that worked last week (Darkseid) but doesn't seem to be working now? Wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Also, I've hardly got any decent gear and looking to try get some, would you guys recommend buying the 65k gear pack? Or is that just not worth it?
