Ultimate Edition for different accounts Posted: 29 Jul 2021 01:04 PM PDT I own the Legendary edition, which i got on sale a few years back. I now really want God and Demon shaders, which both come in the Ultimate edition. This Ultimate edition goes on sale for PS Plus deals every so often, but the problem is the account i play Injustice on is not the account my PS plus subscription is on. Me and my brother share a PS5, so the subscription is under his account and he is set as the family manager so i get PS plus as well, but i don't get the deals. I'm just wondering if i buy the ultimate edition on his account with the deal, will my seperate account also get the skins/shaders? Or will i just have to buy one of the fighter packs for the exact shader i want at full price :( [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jul 2021 03:09 PM PDT The following tier list comes after months of gameplay of each character and hours of time put in to studying each character to the deepest extent, I hope you enjoy this very in-depth tier list. • S TIER • Wonder Woman - Although very one dimensional, Wonder Woman can dominate any matchup no matter with opponent with the use of her spam-worthy Lasso attack and can quickly cancel any opponents moves with her throwable Shield, which does not count as a projectile and might be the fastest attack in the game. Her character powers only acts to further power up her strong, spammable attacks. Black Adam - The quintessential zoner of IJ2, Black Adam can win matches without ever stepping foot near his opponent. His lightning bolt abilities can be fired off across the map and deal considerable damage, making it near impossible for a rush-attack opponent to move whatsoever. His character power allows for a wall of defense against any attack. Doctor Fate - The second-best zoner in the game, but not far off from Adam; Fate can dominate any matchup while barely taking a hair of damage thanks to his fast projectile attacks and his Ankh traps that can be activated with his character power that act as booby traps for any opponent that walks into them. His speed of damage output is unmatched. Catwoman - Catwoman's whip attacks alone are enough to place her among the S tiers, giving her a ranged attack that is nearly as fast as Wonder Woman's shield strike and also acts as a cancel attack while dealing massive damage. Add in her unmatched mobility and quick strikes and you have the perfect close-range brawler plus mid-range attacker. Her damage output is also massive and is matched by very few in the game. Starfire - Starfire's strikes give her an advantage over all other characters as they come with range and deal huge damage. Her jumping strike in particular uses rays and hits as long as you are not blocked. Add in OP combo ability and helpful skills, plus her easily useable power ray character power that can be used to string combos, and you have the perfect brawler character. Black Manta - I struggled to rate Manta an S, but he just makes the cut. Manta's mobility is unmatched. His manta ray attacks are fast and deal some of the highest damage of any skill in the game when meter burned. His rocket skill also acts as a quick damage cancel move that can be spammed and can take out a health bar fast. Manta's Dark Suit ability only acts to increase the damage of his already OP manta rays and can easily deal up to a crazy 700 damage in the right situation, if not more. Manta also has some of the best gear set abilities in the entire game. His rocket pack character power gives him arguably the best mobility in the entire game and can be used to dodge attacks or string combos. • A TIER • Batman - Just barely failing to make the cut of S tier, Batman falls to A tier only due to a rather low damage output. Batman is arguably the best defensive player in the game and can use his Batarang skills to cancel opponent combos as well as string combos, with the ability to win an entire match just comboing with his Batarangs. He has the ability to act as a zoner as well with the use of his grapple hook. His character power, much like Black Adam's, gives Batman a wall of defense that can also be used as a high-damage attack. Red Hood - In the hands of the right player, Red Hood is easily an S tier. He is perhaps the most high-risk, high-reward character in the game in that his skill cap is just so high but if played right could be a top 5 character in the entire game. The use of his land mines are crucial to his play style, which are used as zoning tools that can then be followed up using his diving attack or his knife attacks. His throwing star skill acts as a "batarang" type skill and are good for attack cancels while also inflicting some great damage. Red Hood is so good because his move set has a little bit of everything you need in the game to win. Learn Red Hood, and you can become unbeatable. Darkseid - Darkseid is another rather one dimensional character in that most of the reason he ranks so high is due mostly to his Gamma Beam attack. That said, this skill is OP. It acts as a zoning attack that can be spammed basically until the match is over. It is very hard to dodge if used correctly while mixing it up. Darkseid can be borderline unstoppable if this skill is used correctly. Firestorm - Despite lower than average damage output, Firestorm's ability to attack fast and cancel opponent attacks is top tier. He is arguably the best character in the game in terms of projectiles, whether using his fireball projectile or acting as a legitimate living projectile. His explosion attack can be used in a pinch to stop the opponent dead in their tracks, and his character power only acts to further power up all of his fire based attacks. Superman - A do-it-all character, Superman has a combination of grapple attacks and zoning laser attacks. His laser attacks deal high damage and can be used across a map, while his grapple attacks combo well into any striking combo. If used correctly, Superman can act as an unstoppable spam attacker that can string together attacks rapidly enough to be unblockable. Green Lantern - Just good enough to make the A tier, Green Lantern comes in high due to his ability to chain combos rapidly and efficiently. He also has use of one of the Minigun skill, which when paired with a certain epic gear set, can deal upwards of 700 damage when meter burned in seconds. Lantern's strike combos are easy to use and can be easily chained using his ring skills. He also has use of very effective projectile skills. His character power acts as a buff to his skills and can be used quite frequently, The Flash - The Flash also just makes the A tier, but his mobility and combo stringing capabilities are just too good to rate him any lower. His ability to string both strikes and ability attacks are second to none, being able to attack multiple times with a skill in seconds. He also makes use of some of the better abilities in the game, while also making use of his character power which allows him to easily string combos and massively improve his strike capabilities. This combined with fast, good damage puts Flash at the A tier. Sub-Zero - Sub-Zero could arguably be B tier, but his potential is so high he just makes the A tier. His attacks are fast and very easy to combo. He can execute skill after skill without any real interruptions in the chain. He also has abilities that act as defensive and offensive factors at the same time, such as Ground Freeze, which creates a trap on the ground should the opponent walk over it. His character power is incredibly quick to recharge and can be used in a pinch to freeze the enemy almost immediately, and is easy to combo into during other strings. His combination of skills make him an all-around fighter capable of fast and consistent damage. • B TIER • Robin - While I debated putting Robin in the A tier, he just barely drops into the B tier. Robin has fast attacks that are very easily chained into strike combos. He also puts up respectable damage with his sword attacks. It is when Robin uses the Staff of Grayson ability, though, that he truly shines. The skill gives Robin three very powerful moves that can be used in a pinch including a long-range, under-the-opponent move, and a staff spin attack that can be used to cancel attacks with ease. With Staff of Grayson, Robin is A tier bar none. Without the ability, Robin's mobility with his sword attacks as well as versatility of character power Deadly Arsenal move him into the top of the B tier. Atrocitus - It could be argued that if played right, Atrocitus is A tier as well. He has just a handful of skills but are all spam worthy moves. He can also use his punching skill to move an opponent to the end of the map in just an attack or two, where Atrocitus can truly shine; in the corner. Atrocitus takes over matches once he has his opponent in a corner, with fast attacks that keep the opponent from moving all while putting up respectable damage. He also has the use of the best companion character power in the game with the Dex Starr, who will stay out for the duration of the power will attacking your enemy for you. Supergirl - Supergirl ends up in the B tier despite many believing she may be worthy of the A tier, mostly due to lack of versatility and low damage output. Despite this, Supergirl has some very useful skills including a teleporting punch that can be used to both evade and spam attack at the same time. She also has a useful character power in her eye lasers that can be used in a pinch for quick damage. While her damage output is among the lowest in the game, her ability to string together skill attacks makes her good enough to make it to the B tier. Poison Ivy - Another character who could realistically make the A tier, Ivy falls to B mostly due to lack of versatility in attacks and low mobility. However, Ivy has very useful attacks both mid and long ranged including the ever-spammable ground spike skill as well as her character power plant minion which will stay out as long as Ivy does not get hit, who will spew attacks at the enemy and greatly help in stringing combo attacks. Her plant minion is arguably as good as Atrocitus' character power. Green Arrow - While Green Arrow lacks versatility in his moveset, he has a combination of useful skills that make him a fast, respectably damaging opponent. It is, of course, his arrow character power that really makes him shine. With the ability to make opponents freeze, burn, and electrocute in a pinch combined with easy, fast damage output that can be used at any time with no cooldown, Green Arrow has high potential as a arrow spammer. Deadshot - We all know the truth; when S tier Deadshot got nerfed many gave up on the bullet slinger. Many tier lists have him rated at the C tier. I however came very close to rating Deadshot in the A tier. While he is not the OP zoner he once was, Deadshot has some of the fastest damage output in the game to this day. He is one of the best in terms of stringing together skills and has some very high damage combined with fast and easy to use skills. His ability to make his bullets inflict damage over time adds to a very fast paced, high damage zoner whose quickness make him near A tier. Cyborg - Cyborg just makes the B tier with his high damage output and useful character power. His mother box bombs are useful as both an offensive and defensive skill and can be used to combo into other moves. He has a wide range of skills in his arsenal making him highly versatile, including powerful projectiles. With high damage and useful skills, Cyborg still feels underwhelming, and his lack of quickness in stringing together attacks makes him fall a bit. Hellboy - Hellboy's greatest strength comes in the form of his character power, which has several options to buff your character. Whether it's higher damage, less damage taken, etc, Hellboy can be used in many ways and is highly versatile. His skillset is not overly impressive and often is caught using the same skill repeatedly while stringing strike combos. Despite this, his great character power and versatility along with respectable damage puts him in the B tier. Scarecrow - One of the best in terms of close combat in the game, Scarecrow can dominate a matchup with the use of his chain attacks. He also has some very useful abilities in his arsenal that make him effective from mid to long range as well. His close combat skill has some massive damage output and his chain attacks string together quite easily and work well as cancels on an opponent. Atom - If used correctly and efficiently, Atom is a solid A tier candidate. He is effective at all ranges and his mobility is very good. Atom also has one of the better ability arsenals in the game. He can make use of his Atomizer in several ways to both attack and stun the enemy, is good in long range thanks to his stomp ability, and has one of the most unique abilities in the game; Making Matter, which spawns a throwable object beside Atom and has a short cooldown. He is an overall versatile character with no real flaws but overall average. Aquaman - Aquaman is also an A tier contender thanks to his trident attacks. Aquaman is capable of stringing together attacks to an extent that matches him with the best in the game in that factor. He also makes use of a very useful character power that helps recover from knockback and help prevent being comboed. Aquaman is most effective in the close range which he can dominate to great extent, but can also be effective in the mid range thanks to particular abilities. Aquaman works best as a tank character. Bane - Just barely makes the B tier. His position on the list depends on by who and how he is being played. Bane has the potential to deal some of the highest damage in the entire game, and can deal close to 1000 damage in a single combo. His strikes are among the strongest in the game as well. Bane has the unfortunate weakness of horrendously slow mobility, making it hard to land his dominant attacks. If used effectively, he can wipe out health bars in seconds, but will take significant damage the moment there is an opening or when Band is too slow to execute a move. • C TIER • Blue Beetle - Although it could be argued that Blue Beetle could be ranked a tier higher, he ultimately falls to the C tier due to low versatility, a limited moveset, and a borderline useless character power. His power of changing his hands into swords have almost no use other than a slight increase in strike damage. He makes up for a limited moveset with the ability to shoot projectiles and his multiple rush attacks. With the right epic gear sets, Blue Beetle can be a force to be reckoned with, but as is, he is painfully average with no real upside on his own. Joker - Joker is borderline B tier. He puts out very respectable damage and has several projectile attacks with good accuracy. Joker is greatly effective at mid to long range and his gun ability gives him a quick, high damage attack to fall to. Joker also has use of a useful parry attack that can arguably be called the best parry in the game. He falls to the C tier only due to lack of versatility and a close combat game. Also, his character power increases his quickness and has very little actual use. Overall Joker has potential to be higher and is definitely not bad by any means. Harley Quinn - Quinn has a very high skill cap to play. Her attacks are very timing-based and have poor accuracy. She is effective in stringing together good combos and has high mobility, allowing for fast damage that can be hard to block. Harley Quinn's greatest strength comes in the form of "in a pinch" attacks that can be used last second as a good opponent cancel or a combo string. Gorilla Grodd - Grodd has a high skill cap and is quite hard to learn to use effectively. When learned, he has a decent combination of ranged and close combat skill and can deal moderately high damage. Where he lacks is in his extremely slow mobility that makes his attacks fairly easy to dodge, with many of his attacks missing the target when executed. Grodd can do some good damage is stringing the correct combos but is overall underwhelming. His character power is actually quite good as it is a general stat buff, but is not a big enough but to counter his weaknesses. TMNT - It isn't unfair to rate TMNT as a whole. While Leonardo has a small advantage over the others, it is not enough to give him his own rating. The Ninja Turtles are very average. They deal moderate damage with their attacks and have no real advantage over other characters. They have a somewhat versatile moveset and their character power, allowing the player to activate the 3 other turtles to assist you, is a generally positive power in that it is a good interruption for an enemy while they are attacking and it deals OK damage. Captain Cold - Once a borderline S tier character, Captain Cold has fallen significantly from the early days of the game. He deals pretty low damage and does not have any particular strong or go-to attacks. His ability to freeze opponents is useful but Sub-Zero has an easier time doing so and more effectively. Captain Cold's character power is pretty good as when charged the gun can deal some devastating attacks and give you the upper hand, but it takes far too long in between to charge the gun to make it worthwhile. Black Canary - Black Canary can be a B tier fighter if used correctly. Her Screech power is arguably the best stun-type attack in the game and can be used frequently enough. Canary relies heavily on dodge-based abilities that can be hard to use effectively. Her other attacks have solid mobility and she can be hard to dodge if stringing together the right combos. Brainiac - Brainiac's tendril attacks are fast and have solid range. He is a capable fighter but does not overly excel at any particular thing. His character power is pretty underwhelming as well as it is essentially a slower version of Supergirl's laser eye power. His combos are just OK and he cannot string together skills very well. He has moderately good damage output if used right. Cheetah - Just barely making it to the C tier, Cheetah has many weaknesses that make her a very hard fighter to pull off. Her saving grace is the damage output of her claw attacks that can actually be quite high when used properly and her character power works to further increase the damage of these attacks.. Many of her moves require a particular positioning of the opponent to execute and only has a couple go-to moves. She has a high skill cap that is not overly satisfying for the time it takes to learn it. • D TIER • Swamp Thing - Swamp Thing struggles in most categories due to his extremely limited mobility. His attacks are subpar and his one big damage attack can only be done at a certain range and is far too easier to dodge, like many of his other attacks. His character power does damage over time but not nearly enough to make up for his weaknesses. Arguably the worst fighter in Injustice 2. Enchantress - Acting as a defensive type character, Enchantress is restricted to just a couple actual damaging attacks in her arsenal. Many of her skills are either dodges or shields that are extremely easy to counter. Her strikes are poor as well and her heavy strike is ranged and extremely easy to dodge. Enchantress is so limited that she usually has to resort to spamming the same move just to damage the opponent. Her character power is a companion and arguably the worst one in the game, as it does not last long and doesn't have much damage output. Her skill cap is also very high and when finally learned is not effective by any means. Raiden - It is unfortunate that Raiden is so bad. He can be a lot of fun to play, but is just awful in pretty much all ways. He has poor range on his attacks, and deals exceptionally low damage. He is also very easy to dodge and is limited in the ways he can string combos on the enemy. Raiden is a character that seems to have been designed to be effective but just fell apart after being programmed. Has nearly no potential whatsoever in ranked competition. [link] [comments]

Should Injustice Superman be executed for 5 years of tyrannical rule ? Posted: 28 Jul 2021 07:37 PM PDT Im reading and playing Injustice again and at the ending of the first game we know Prime Superman defeats Injustice/Regime Superman yada yada yada. Resulting in him being left in a red sunlight prison. I think the problem with this is that its ignoring/handwaving quite a few problems with leaving superman there and thats it. For starters, we dont know if Kent had any sort of trial (most likely not) so just dropping him in a red sunlight jail seems to just be throwing dirt under the carpet and hoping it wont come back to bite you. Clark is no ordinary man that you can just throw in a cell and that will be that. He will escape eventually and become unstoppable once again (dont even get me started on the allies that will actively work to free him). There is also the countless people that would demand Clark's head on a kryptonite stake for all the innocents he murdered and oppressed without any regrets. Im surprised no allies of batman just snuck into supes's cell and slashed his throat or shot a bullet between his eyes. The world would realistically be blood thirsty for revenge. Someone could say that Batman wouldnt let that happen but Batman is just one man, just do it when he isnt looking (then again, I doubt Batman would let Superman get killed if some court condemned him to death) I think it all becomes even worse when Injustice 2 happens and Supes is freed, defeated once again in the Batman ending and now they expose him to golden kryptonite (which may or may not be permanent...but for the sake of Injustice 3, of course its not) and just dump him into the phantom zone...this is both a case of "why havent they done that the first time instead of the red sunlight cell?" and utter stupidity since the phantom zone no doubt is within Clark's expertise so of course he will find a way of escaping it (as Superman has escaped the phantom zone multiple times in other versions, this one is obviously no different). Batman himself seems to be aware of this in his arcade ending so he is "preparing" for when that day comes...why is just so difficult to have Clark Kent legally executed for his tyranny ? Its clear he wont change and Injustice 2 just solidifies that fact. It almost makes me wish Superman's ending in Injustice 2 is canon so at least Batman is punished for his dumb ass for not allowing Clark to be properly executed for his crimes (ironically it all almost seems to mirror how it was with the Joker). Clark will escape and probably kill more innocents because he sees himself as a god, a bringing of order and justice that will stop only when he is dead. But what are your thoughts? Do you think Clark should get executed ? And unless Im missing something, what is the in universe reason that he wasnt ? (If there is any) [link] [comments]
