| Realistic Injustice 3 Roster, Release Date, and Story Posted: 25 Mar 2021 10:30 AM PDT Release Date: It is likely Injustice 3 will come out in 2022. Usually NRS releases a game every 2 years and if Injustice 3 was in development, then it is was likely it was set to release this year. However, the pandemic has significantly slowed down development progress for video games and as a result many games have been delayed. It is likely Injustice 3 will come out in 2022 rather than 2021 due to the pandemic. Of course, it is still possible for the game to come out in 2021 if NRS really has their stuff together to get through this project, but I would not get your hopes up. I see it as unlikely as of how things have turned out so far. Plot: I believe the mainvillain will not be playable and will be an NPC final boss just like Kronika from MK11. Finally, the DC villain should be a major threat. This is likely the last Injustice game we will ever get. This finishes the Injustice trilogy. I believe the villain would be The Anti-Monitor because he is the biggest, largest, universal threat. The reason why I didn't pick Nekron is simply because Blackest Night already took place in The Injustice comics, so it would be weird to have it again. Also, because The Anti-Monitor is multi-dimensional threat, this gives an excuse to get multi-dimensional characters (e.g restoring a dead character by just having him plop out from a different dimension, or getting a character like Owl-Man from an alternate timeline as a character/Batman skin/being involved in the story just because he is from a different dimension). Realistic Roster Size: As for the roster size. MK11 had 37 characters. Injustice 2 had 38 characters. I believe this game will have 40 characters in total. This is simply because this is the last Injustice game likely, the end to the trilogy. I believe the game will have a base roster of 28 characters just like Injustice 2. There will be 12 DLC characters in total, making it a total of 40. That means there will be a total of 4 DLC packs with 4 characters in each one. I believe it will be a game that will be supported for a long time because it is the finale of the trilogy. Therefore constant character skins, challenges, DLC characters would be incrementally added to support the game's lifespan. -Key Characters Are 1. Batman, 2. Superman, 3. Wonder Woman, 4. Aquaman, 5. Flash, 6. Green Lantern. These are the no-brainers. It's not a DC Universe game if you don't have these six within the game. Of course there will be various premiere skins that account into things such as a Reverse Flash skin for default Flash, etc. -Returning Heroes From Injustice 2 Are 7. Supergirl, 8. Black Canary, 9. Harley Quinn, 10. Green Arrow, 11. Blue Beetle. These characters are generally integral to the story, so it is very unlikely they will be left out of Injustice 3 for story purposes. Also, they are all fairly popular characters. -Returning Villains From Injustice 2 are 12. Damian Wayne 13. Poison Ivy. Damian seems way too important of a character to leave out of the story. Poison Ivy I believe will return because she is a very popular character especially due to the popularity of The Harley Quinn Show. -Returning Characters From Injustice 1 are 14. Deathstroke, 15. Lex Luthor, 16. Raven. Deathstoke is a major DC character that wasn't in Injustice 2, so I believe he will be in Injustice 3, replacing Deadshot. Lex Luthor is quite literally the second most key DC villain, and he was also out of Injustice 2. I believe he will be back in Injustice 3, from a different dimension, in an Iron-Man-like suit similar to this. Raven is a very popular character that I believe will make a key comeback in Injustice 3. -New Villains Will Be 17. Ra's Al Ghul, 18. Mirror Master, 19. Chesire, 20. Amazo, 21. King Shark 22. Terra, 23. Metallo These are all pretty key, strong antagonistic characters we have not yet seen in Injustice games. Ra's Al Ghul is probably one of the most major DC villains that hasn't been in Injustice. Mirror Master is a key Flash villain with a cool moveset, Terra has amazing abilities to fit into a fighting game, Metallo is a key Superman villain and can be used as an attempted robotic weapon to try to kill Superman, etc. -New Heroes Will Be 24. Booster Gold, 25. Steel, 26. Aqualad, 27. Red Tornado. These are all highly requested heroes who will also be apart of the main story. They have very cool powers/abilities, thus they would make for great roster character. -Pre-Order Bonus Will Be 28. Beast Boy. He is the most requested character of all time, basically. -DLC heroes will be 29. Plastic Man, 30. Etrigan, 31. Mera, 32. Big Barda, 33. Constantine. These are all HIGHLY requested characters that will be made into the game very likely. -DLC Villains will be 34. Steppenwolf, 35. Livewire, 36. Larfleeze, 37. Batman Who Laughs, 38. Captain Boomerang. With the popularity of the Syndercut, Steppenwolf would make for a good DLC character. Larfleeze will be the Lantern villain of the game, Batman Who Laughs would be very popular, etc. -Guest Character From MK11 Will Be 39. Johnny Cage. He fits well into the Injustice universe and would make for a humorous character. He would constantly joke how he was in a superhero movie and that he was the main character. -NRS will also add 2 other guest characters from different media as well, I am just not sure which. HEAVY PERSONAL BIAS INCLUDED) This hypothetical game would have a Crisis-like story with the Multiverse taking the spotlight, so dead characters are not out for the count. Maybe the Anti-Monitor, Superboy Prime, and The Batman Who Laughs fight for control over the Multiverse and the main recurring cast has to come together to fight back(similar to I2 but maybe with a definitive Superman redemption arc). I'm limiting myself so only half the roster is returning characters, with 28 base game characters and 12 DLC. Who should I add, who should I take out, what costumes should appear, how would each character's super play out? I have the complete addition of the game on disk however it's broken and the ps4 won't read it. I've noticed I can still download dlc characters for free even when I don't have the game on my ps4. So I'm wondering if I just bought the standard addition on the ps store will I keep all my dlc or no? Thanks if anyone knows! [link] [comments] | ||
