Kept pulling golds out of the 400 pack, so I gave up and decided it was time to try the 200 pack. Wow. Probably wont open another 200, but still happy lol
hitting 3 200% in a row.....
I lost a lot of my fp Batman progress and my lexcorp set entirely and some other things so I decided to take a little break and I’m back and now I’m working on my halfway to the bottom barrel Bn team! (Also lost over 200 nth metal so my hearts broken)

When would it be worth it to max out gears?

I don't really have anyone I want to promote too much right now, so I have around 4.5 million gold and nothing to spend it on. The last big investment I made was promoting Raven Prime to E7, which was a couple weeks back after her challenge. Is it worth it to spend the time to max out (not evolve, already done that) all my 2-3* gear? The wiki says it's only an increase from 4-6 to 5-9 bonus shards for 2* gears, which doesn't really seem worth it unless I have like 20ish extra gears. But on the other hand, 3* gears increase from 3-7 to a whopping 15-29, at least for the color-specific gear (kryptonite, energy lance, etc.) This is also the case for color-specific 2* gear, with an increase from 2-5 to 10-19 extra shards.

Basically what I'm asking is whether to max out any of them at all, and whether I should focus on particular ones first? It seems though as if focusing on green shard 3* gears (since that's what I'm needing the most right now), and then going on to maxing out color-specific 2*s, and then finally moving onto the remaining 3*s and 2*s. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be the best course of action.
