| Posted: 23 Jan 2020 05:45 AM PST I've been in an Injustice mood recently, so I decided to create my wishlist for a potential third game's roster. To start, I compiled a list of all the characters from the previous two games who I would either like to appear in the third or that I thought probably would appear in the third. For these characters, I'll leave a brief explanation of why I put them in if I feel it's necessary, but for most there's really not much to say:
From what I remember, both endings of 2 seemed to set her up as a crucial character for 3.
While not too important to the story, her character is popular and I personally really enjoyed how she played.
More accurately, Damian Wayne. He's played a part in both games, so he'll probably appear in the third. Whether or not he still goes by Robin is another story.
She had a prominent story role, and I really enjoyed her playstyle, so I'd like to see her return.
I honestly don't remember his fate at the end of 2, so this is assuming he's still alive. If he died, then he may not be in 3.
Honestly, I could do without Joker in 3 as he's never been my favorite character to play as, but with his movie getting 11 Oscar nominations, he's practically a guarantee.
Honestly, he's just one of my favorite DC characters, and I'd love to see him return for that reason alone.
With his movie doing so well and a sequel on the way, I think he'll find his way into the third game despite his death in the first.
Not my favorite character to play as, but I included her because of another character I thought of later on the list.
Like Deathstroke, I just really enjoy his character and would like to see him come back for that reason alone.
Both Red Hood and Black Manta are characters I don't know too much about, but they were some of my favorite characters to play as in 2, so I'd love to see them return.
Another character I just enjoy as a character. He was pretty fun to play as too.
I feel like NetherRealm messed up last game making him a premiere skin for a Mortal Kombat character instead of the Mortal Kombat character being the premiere skin for the DC fighter, so this would set things right. With those characters now in my version of the game, I thought through which new characters I'd like to add. Keep in mind I only thought of characters that would be in the original roster instead of DLC, so there are no guest characters and everyone is a DC Comics character. The original roster from Gods Among Us was 24 characters, 2 was 28, so following that pattern, this game would be 32. I bumped that up to 34 because I didn't want to stop at just 8 new characters, so I made myself think of 10.
Constantine is a character I've been wanting since Injustice 1! At this point, he's arguably the most popular DC character who has not yet been in an Injustice game, so I think it's very likely he'll appear, and I would be very happy to see him!
Beast Boy is Constantine's competition for "most popular DC character who has not yet been in an Injustice game". I would be very excited to see him in there, and really intrigued by his moveset. He definitely has the potential to be the most fun character of the game.
Given the wild critical success of the Doom Patrol show, I think it's possible one of the team's members will appear in Injustice 3, with Crazy Jane probably offering the most diverse move list of the members. I could see her powerset being a whole lot of fun, and I would be excited to try her out in the game!
I know people are tired of Batman characters in Injustice games, but Clayface has potential to be a seriously fun character! Being able to mold his body into pretty much anything would make his move set wildly creative and really fun to control, so I'd really like to see him appear!
Final Batman character, I swear! As fun as it can be to be a superpowered character, it's also a ton of fun to be a character who is just a really good non-powered human, and Ra's al Ghul is one of the best! Now, it's possible his character could be too similar to the likes of Deathstroke, but I think he's distinct enough to include them both in one game.
Honestly, who wouldn't want to play as a giant shark? He would be a really fun addition to the roster, and I'd really like to see him in this game!
Trigon could potentially be the main villain of Injustice 3 and could set up a compelling conflict. Overall, I think the opportunity to play as a giant demon is too good to pass up, and the story possibilities he could have as the villain are really exciting to think about! (He's the reason I chose Raven to come back).
With her show starting up, I think her character will probably be at the right level of popularity that her inclusion will be a no-brainer at this point. Her playset has the potential to be really fun, and I'd really like the opportunity to play as her.
I always find stretchy characters to be a lot of fun in fighting games, so I'd like to see one make an appearance in Injustice 3. I was deciding between him and Plastic Man, but since Elongated Man is currently on the Flash show, I think he's the more likely candidate.
Yes, I want the Super Dog on this roster. It would be ridiculous and crazy and insanely fun to play as a dog with the powers of Superman. As an animal-lover, I adore Krypto, and would love the opportunity to play as him in a video game, so this seems like a great opportunity! So those are the 34 characters I would include if I were creating Injustice 3. I'm sure I missed some really good ones though as my comic book knowledge is somewhat limited, so I'd be interested to see what other people think of this roster or just who you'd like to see in the next game. I'm looking for a main and a side main. I have definitely decided on maining Sub-Zero but I can't find a side-main. Here are the characters I'm deciding on: Btw I like a throw based or zoning/ability focused moveset. Grodd, Doctor Fate, Black Adam, Poison Ivy or Deadshot. Help would be much appreciated.
