Survivor Strategy

I'm sure this is nothing new but recently stumbled upon a strategy that is getting me 1-2 extra wins per survivor game. Based mostly on the fact that when you die mid-fight and switch in a stronger team, the opponents stay the same strength.

What I used to do is start with a weaker team, bronze or silver, but maxed out with good gear. Typically they get me to fight 9 or 10. Whenever they would die, I would change all three at once to a stronger team in order to finish the fight. Then I would maybe get one extra win after. So I'd typically finish on either fight 10 or 11. What I do now is this:

1) Still start off with a weaker team, bronze or silver but maxed and good gears.

2) Use them until they all die. Let's say you make it to fight 9 and they all die mid fight.

3) Switch in only one new character who is significantly stronger but not too much stronger. If my bronze are around 6k power and 10k health, I'll switch in someone around 15k power and 20k health. I'll use a similar difference if I started with a silver team.

4) They are able to beat fight 9 for me since the opponents are proportionate to the weaker team.

5) They then die mid fight 10 since the opponent is now proportionate to their strength.

6) Switch in a new character for fight 10, someone around 30k power. They beat fight 10 then die mid fight 11.

7) Make my final change, 40-50k power character, they beat fight 11 and then I cash out.

So where previously I would have made the full 3 changes at once and either cashed out after beating 9 or occasionally 10, now I am consistently cashing out after beating 11 and sometimes after beating 12.

Any superior strategies to this out there? Let me know, would love to try!
