| Posted: 11 Apr 2021 12:17 PM PDT I am a huge fan of the Injustice series. I absolutely love the first two games and I absolutely love the world of Injustice, exploring an alternate reality where Superman snaps after the Joker basically takes everything he loves from him, & the aftermath, consequences, and repercussions of that. The first game was a excellent Multiverse story that introduced us to this dark world through the eyes of the versions of the heroes we know and love, they are basically the audience POV characters in a sense. And it worked, & the world we saw was executed extremely well, showing us what would've became of it if the Man of Steel went down a darker path. Plus the acting and writing are all superb. The second game expanded upon the world beautifully with lore and worldbuilding and showed the aftermath of the events of the last game extremely and beautifully well, and giving us the classic Brainiac and Supergirl story but with a twist, that twist being it is set within the world of Injustice. Admittedly it wasn't entirely perfect, as there was some unnecessary retcons it made, mainly with the death of Dick Grayson not being mentioned (though one could argue that Bruce changed up the story because Grayson's death was so heartbreaking he couldn't bring himself to mention it, but that's just my theory and a topic for another day) and some stuff could've been fleshed out a little bit better, but overall, yet another excellent installment. which is why I am extremely hyped for the next game, & today I am going to give you all my pitch for the third game, titled "Injustice 3: Crisis of Order" you're probably wondering why it is called that? well because I personally believe that the Lords of Order will be the main villains of the next game, with them bringing on a Crisis to destroy Chaos itself even if it means resetting the Multiverse, and the final boss being there Champion/Herold. The reason I believe is due to them using Doctor Fate as a weapon and Fate even alluding to this himself, there are also hints in the arcade endings, mainly Green Arrow's, the Flash's, maybe Doctor Fate's (I can't remember if his did or not), & even Raiden's. As for who there Champion/Herold would be, I honestly don't know yet, I remember in the show Batman: The Brave and the Bold there was this villain called Equinox, who was basically an orphan chosen by the Lords of Order and Chaos to keep the balance and create peace, but at some point all the pressure from the job made him go a little bit Cu-Cu Bananas and he abandoned his status to do things his own way. I thought maybe he could be used as the final boss and the Champion of the Lords of Order. But now I'm not sure, since that would kindof go against his backstory (tho they could also retcon and rewrite it so that he returns to working for them), not to mention I feel it may create WAY too many parallels to Blaze from MK Armageddon. However if you guys think differently let me know, and there are other options for the final boss and Champion of the Lords of Order like The Anti-Monitor, or Nekron, or maybe even the Batman Who Laughs or Darkseid, who knows. But now for the story, since the other games were mostly original story with some loose inspiration from other DC storylines, the first game was loosely inspired by Kingdom Come and the animated movie Crisis on Two Earths, and the second games story was loosely inspired by Superman Unbound, which I believe was the introduction of Supergirl. This game will be the same, a original story that is loosely inspired by a DC Comics story, in this case the loose inspirations will be Rock of Ages (replacing Darkseid with Evil Regime Superman), Crisis on Infinite Earth, Dark Knights Death Metal, & finally, last but not least, the Doomsday Clock. With the appearance of the Watchmen. The story would be set 2 years after after the Absolute Power ending of Injustice 2 (which I believe is the canon ending), in that time Superman has taken over the planet with Brainiac's technology and now rules supreme, however there are still pockets of Resistance all other planet, one of them led by Green Arrow and Black Canary, & the most notable members consisting of Blue Beetle, Harley Quinn, Roy Harper, Weather Wizard, King Shark, The Ravager, Peacemaker (voice and Likeness by John Cena), A new mysterious Vigilante named Rorschach, & Green Lantern Jon Stewart from Olly's earth. We learn that most of the other heroes & villains like Firestorm, Bane, Catwoman, Captain Cold, & Deadshot were forced under a similar mind control that we saw Batman in at the end of the last game except for Wonder Woman, Damian, Black Adam, Aquaman, and Cyborg who are all still loyal to him, Hal Jordan has went missing and nobody knows where he is, The Flash is being used to power New Metropolis, & Supergirl was forced to submit to Clark otherwise she will either be put under mind control like Bruce, or die. However during a attack on one of Superman's outpost they are ambushed and separated with Weather Wizard & Roy Harper getting captured. Dinah, Harley, Beetle, Rorschach, & Peacemaker find themselves out the HQ of the JL DARK where we meet Constantine, Zatanna, Etrigan, Deadwing (AKA Dick Grayson who is the new Deadman), & Ozymandias (voice and Likeness by Jeremy Irons). He explains that he comes from another earth and that him and Constantine have been having visions of a in coming Crisis brought on by the Lords of Order, & if they don't stop it, they will destroy the Multiverse in order to Eliminate Chaos itself. Once he found out that someone else was having these visions, he came to this earth with another person, Rorschach, He and Constantine had Rorschach installed into Ollie's resistance to bring him and his Resistance to them because they knew that trying to contact them themselves would be dangerous due to the Regime listening in on everyone's calls. There plan is to find a person Ozy knew known as Doctor Manhatten and stop this in coming Crisis, while also stopping Superman and finding a way to bring down his new Regime & saving Roy. Also meanwhile Ollie, Ravager, King Shark, & John find out that there is another Resistance led by Ra's Al Ghul, consisting of Red Hood, Queen Mera, Lex Luthor from another earth, Booster Gold, Starfire, Beast Boy & the League of Assassins. Ollie & his team are also informed of the in coming Crisis (this time from Lex) and they decide to help them as well. So basically yeah, that's the plot in a nutshell. Now into the Roster, first.... And then the only non-playable character will be Equinox, the final boss of the game. Or whoever the final boss should be. Whether it be Anti-Monitor or someone like that. and there yeah go, the total roster would be 35 characters, & then counting the two Pre-Order exclusive characters, Rorschach and Doctor Manhatten, that would be 37 characters. Also I don't remember where I saw this, but someone suggested it on Youtube, & it be cool if not only we got Premiere Skins again but also some of those Premiere skins could be alternate versions of characters that also play a part in the story. Now that the Snyder cut has been out for a while and I've seen it twice I wanted to ask a question that's kinda just popped up. A ideal wishlist. What would you like to see in injustice 3 if it ever happens? I'll make my list here in the description if that's ok. 1: lots of customization and costumes: Ok so I know quite a few people enjoy costumes to pieces of costumes to their fighters. But I do have an idea for both parties to coexist. Injustice 2 had ALOT of gear customization. Like alot alot. But very few costumes and set skin pallets. So here's my plans. For every 3 pieces of gear there has to be one costume. That way if players want a specific costume and not alot of random pieces of gear they can have their cake or whatever dessert and eat it to. Now for colors and those custome bits. Let us customize like I'm the soul caliber series or whatever series that has alot of customization. Let us choose our colors for our heros and villains. Let us make them our way and give them our own story. 2: Let this be the final chapter. So injustice has been going in for a long and given mainstream audiences an idea of a superman who broke and went bad. I purpose this. Let this be the final chapter in the story of injustice and let it end with supermans heroic death. He comes back still an asshole but after see the ghost of Lois, his kid, and everyone he's killed or hurt he changes and for the better. One last flight as he saves us all from a universe ending threat. Be it darkseid, anti monitor or someone else. Let it be the end of injustice and the beginning of justice again. 3: lots more music. What both games lacked for me personally is music. DC is a huge story that expands in all directions possible. There's so many musical pieces to have and make totally original. Imagen your fighting someone and man of steel flight starts blasting in the background. Or it's the last few second and you have flash. You and your enemy are in their last legs. At the speed of force starts playing as you unleash your saved super move for that last second gamble to win. 4: lots of intros and outros and choices of dialog So mortal kombat 11 showed us alot of different intros and outros for our characters to change and mingle with. This is something I'd love to see. However another thing to add to this. Two sets of dialog. So you can choose between good/redeemed superman dialog or asshole/evil superman dialog. That way it's super personalized and your not stuck with a version of the character you don't like. 5: a nice healthy number of character Both Injustice games had a nice healthy dose of characters both in universe and visitors from other movies and series. I hope that this game will be no different as I'd love to see a huge set of characters we all know and love beat the crap out of eachother. Perhaps even bring back some old characters and so on. 6: maybe let it be the prequel for DC vs Mortal kombat 2/remake? Dc vs mortal kombat was a big let down when it hit our consouls. Characters didn't do great fatalities. There's enough of this or that. It felt to safe. This time however it could work. We have made huge strides in technology and graphical engineering. With all these new things and consouls at play we could easily have a gory and gorgeous fighting game between DC and Mortal kombat. 7: no crunch please. [link] [comments] | ||

However, when I go to select a character I'm not able to choose Red hood, Starfire, or Black Manta game says "press A to purchase". When I try that Xbox tells me "looks like you already own this item". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried wiping profile save data. What won't it work? What am I doing wrong?
