The first six chapters are down below: https://www.reddit.com/r/INJUSTICE/comments/mnv4ja/question_and_first_six_chapters_of_my_story/ CHAPTER SEVEN: A BROKEN SYMBOL OF WILL (GREEN LANTERN) Hal Jordan is at physical therapy, exercising his broken right hand with a finger spring glove. TWO YEARS AGO In Atlantis, Atrocious talks down Green Lantern and vomits on him trying to convert him into a Red Lantern. In Brainiac's ship, Green Lantern tells Clark to stop. Green Lantern creates a shield and tries to deflect Superman's hits, but the Man of Steel breaks it. In Gotham, Green Lantern is hit repeatedly by Superman. Hal tries to counter, but his hand is crushed. PRESENT These memories hit Hal, which angers him. He rips off the glove and throws it. His physical therapist backs away in fear. Hal's eyes begin to glow red, and he hits a table. He falls to his knees and seethes in pain, as he has hit his broken hand. Meanwhile, Bat-Mite is in a prison cell reading Batman comic books when Beast Boy enters. He takes a seat and pulls r Batman's detailed personnel file on the imp. Bat-Mite giggles giddily, as Batman knows everything about him. Beast Boy throws the file on the table and asks about what he knows. Bat-Mite says that he'll only tell his idol. His head is hit against the table, and Bruce says that he knew it would come down to this. The imp shakes off his injuries and whips out Detective Comics #27 and begs for Bruce to sign it. Batman says that he has no time for his games. Bat-Mite says that he knows everything, and intended to get into this situation, just to see Bruce again. Bruce sighs and Bat-Mite summons a phone and a pen. He proceeds to take a selfie with Bruce, and the Dark Knight signs the comic. Bat-Mite calms down and says there is a lot to unload. Hal lies on a chair and his therapist asks him how his day was. Hal responds by saying his anger is growing more out of control. His therapist, Hugo Strange, says that the death of Carol still brings emotional trauma to him, and he says that letting it out will help him recuperate. Hal tells Strange that every day, the burning rage of Atrocious fills him. Hugo is intrigued, but he hides it. All he tells him is to continue his recommended exercises. Oliver Queen carries a briefcase out of the Queen Industries. He checks his phone and receives a message telling him to visit Ace O' Clubs Bar. At Ace O' Clubs, Bruce Wayne and Hal Jordan are lounging in a booth. Oliver greets them, and he sits down. Ollie asks where Roy Harper is, and Batman informs him that they only saw him when Batgirl was given to them for treatment. The three chat about the state of the world after Brainiac. TWO YEARS AGO: Brainiac is strung up to tubes and wires in the Red Sun Prison, in Superman's original cell. Green Arrow, Batman, Flash, Harley Quinn, and Starfire enter the cell block. After Superman was sent to prison, the unconscious Brainiac was stripped of his suit, and his helm was rendered useless. Brainiac has also given up on escaping but refuses to give up his collection. Super Girl wheels in the last of the cities on Earth. Starfire, in anger, bashes the Coulan's head in and destroys his helm. Vril Drox, out of fear, tells them that he needs to be in his ship to free the cities. Batman knows he is lying and stabs a Batarang into his hand. Batman says that the procedure is ready to start, and Oliver hooks up multiple wires between Brainiac and the cities. They electrocute the wires, and the cities start to reform. They shut it off, and have multiple trucks deliver the cities to their original areas, so they can start to reform them. As Brainiac hangs in his cell, Green Arrow approaches it and sets him free. As revenge for kidnapping him and his wife, Black Canary, a few months earlier, he shoots two arrows in his head, and pushes the body over the ledge, letting it drop. PRESENT Oliver Queen rejects joining the Justice League, as he has PTSD from his mind control by Grodd. He says that one day, he will don the mask again, but for now, he will stick to taking care of his son and running Queen Industries. Hal Jordan leaves the bar and takes a walk in Metropolis. Meanwhile, Eobard Thawne prepares to leave his apartment and decides to suit up. He uses the fire escape to go unnoticed and proceeds to sprint across the roads. Hal notices this and suits up. Reverse-Flash sees that Green Lantern is flying after him, and runs faster. Lantern constructs a wall in front of him. Eobard phases through the wall and continues running through Metropolis. Lantern then constructs a minigun and shoots Thawne, penetrating his thigh. This causes him to phase, and he runs into the Flash Museum, a branch in the Metropolis museum. Hal flies into the Museum and makes his way into the branch. He finds Thawne staring at a painting of the Flash, crying. He angrily punches a hole through it and notices Hal. He dashes at him, but Lantern constructs a mace and hits him with it. FIGHT TWENTY-FIVE: GREEN LANTERN VS. REVERSE-FLASH Bat-Mite appears behind Hal and asks him to bring him to Batman, once again. Hal refuses, which angers the imp. Hal asks why he wants to see Batman. EARLIER Bat-Mite has just finished telling Bruce about Superman's plans and asks if he can join the League to help. Batman refuses, and grabs him by the collar, and takes him outside. He throws the imp down the stairs. Bat-Mite asks why he is doing this, and Batman says that he will only ruin the operation. Bat-Mite proceeds to cry, which Bruce ignores as he re-enters the Hall of Justice. Bat-Mite tells himself that he will become an assistant to Batman, and proceeds to find the Flash, Harley Quinn, Black Canary, Constantine, Raven, and Robin. They all refuse, which makes Bat-Mite even more upset. He is still very determined, and he says that he will meet his next try, Hal Jordan. PRESENT Hal still rejects, which pushes Bat-Mite over the edge even more. While the two are battling, Reverse-Flash escapes and runs to the Fortress of Solitude. He is greeted by Aquaman, who brings him to Kal-El. Reverse-Flash says that killing Flash will help him be at peace with the fact that he is trapped in this time. Now, Superman, Mr. Freeze, Reverse-Flash, Wonder Woman, Nightwing, King Shark, Darkseid, Amazo, Zod, Bizarro, Cyborg, Aquaman, Killer Frost, and Heatwave discuss their leader's plan. Clark tells them that Darkseid will take them to Apokolips to find Eclipso, who will give them the blueprints of the Miracle Machine: a mythical device that will grant the user anything they want. King Shark asks what that is, and he says that he wants a world without Batman and Joker, Lois and his child to be with him, and an officially reinstated Regime, where everyone will bow down to their rule. Then, they begin to discuss motives. MOTIVES: SUPERMAN: BATMAN/JOKER WIPED FROM EXISTENCE, LOIS AND UNNAMED CHILD ALIVE, OFFICIAL REGIME MR. FREEZE: HIS WIFE TO BE SAVED REVERSE-FLASH: KILLING FLASH WONDER WOMAN: TO SEE SUPERMAN CONTENT AND HAPPY WITH HIS LIFE NIGHTWING/CYBORG: A WORLD WHERE CRIMINALS ARE ALL DEAD DARKSEID: UNKNOWN KING SHARK: REVENGE ON MERA FOR IMPRISONMENT AMAZO: REVENGE ON GREEN LANTERN ZOD: USING THE MIRACLE MACHINE TO BRING BACK KRYPTON BIZARRO: TO BE SUPERMAN'S RIGHT HAND AQUAMAN: REVENGE ON MERA FOR TAKING THE THRONE OF ATLANTIS FROM HIM KILLER FROST: A PLANET WERE SHE CAN LIVE ALONE AND FREEZE HEATWAVE: MONEY Green Lantern shackles Bat-Mite and takes him to Batman at Wayne Manor. Bat-Mite begs Bruce to join alliances with the League, and The Dark Knight finally accepts. Bat-Mite tells Green Lantern that their best chance of succeeding is by finding Kilowog. Batman tells him that he has only been seen during the Regime twice: during his imprisonment and he was battling Atrocitous in Metropolis during the fall of the Regime. Hal tells him that he will first search Oa, and then work his way down. While he is flying into the sky, Atrocitus dives at him. The two fly into space, battling along the way. They eventually land in the Guardian's throne room, and they secretly call back-up for Hal. Atrocious stabs Hal's shoulder and tells the Guardians that he wants revenge for destroying the Red Lantern Corps. He begins to recite the Red Lantern's oath. "WITH BLOOD AND RAGE CRIMSON RED..." Kilowog flies in and swipes the Red Lanterns with a mace, knocking him on his left knee. "RIPPED FROM A CORPSE SO FRESHLY DEAD…" Hal hits Atrocitous in the face. "TOGETHER WITH OUR HELLISH HATE…" Hal breaks the Lantern's hands with a constructed knuckle duster. "WE'LL BURN YOU ALL… THAT IS YOUR FATE!" Kilowog constructs a sword and stabs him with it. EARLIER Larfleeze watches the pair fighting. He realizes that this could be a way to have the power of Hal Jordan. His jealousy is stronger than anything else, and it took over his strategy. He decides to rush into the fight head first. By the time he finds them, Atrocitous is being killed. On the other side of the roof, Bleez and Shallox watch in horror, as their leader has been slaughtered. The three dive through the hole. NOW The Lanterns dive through the hole. Kilowog decides to take Shallox, and Larfleeze and Bleeze dive at Hal. Hal dodges sideways and constructs a large fist to knock back the villains. Larfleeze dodges, but Bleeze is knocked into a wall, unconscious. Larfleeze tells Hal how envious he is of his power. He tells him that once he pries the ring off of his corpse, he will apply its powers to his ring. FIGHT TWENTY-SEVEN: GREEN LANTERN VS. LARFLEEZE Larfleeze falls to the floor. Bleeze tackles Jordan. Hal hits her twice, and she lets go. FIGHT TWENTY-EIGHT: GREEN LANTERN VS. BLEEZ Hal approaches Kilowog, and he tells him that his assistance is needed back on Earth. Kilowog accepts, and the two fly off. At the Fortress of Solitude, Superman is exercising with a 200-pound ice formation, when he gets an intruder alert from Wonder Woman. Robin, Captain Boomerang, and Beast Boy approach the two, and Garfield tells them that they were foolish to join Batman and that they want redemption. [link] [comments] | ||

| New Suicide Squad Game Connected to Injustice-verse (Idea) Posted: 13 Apr 2021 10:38 AM PDT I thought it would be cool since the new Suicide Squad Game's villain is Brainiac, if it was actually Superman, like the alternate "Absolute Monarchy" ending in Injustice 2, where he bonds with Brainiac's ship. Also, it would make sense, since the title of the Suicide Squad game will be called, "Kill the Justice League" meaning Superman took over not only Batman in the Injustice 2 ending, but all of the other justice league members as well. | Posted: 13 Apr 2021 05:45 AM PDT Hey! I just bought injustice 2 on Xbox one since the legendary edition is currently 11$. My question is why is my gameplay seem so slow comparatively to tournament matches. I've been watching some Sonicfox and honeybee videos to get better at characters like black canary, and it seems their combos and attacks are way faster than I can do in my game. I can't even do some combos without a slight delay where the cpu can interrupt with a block. I want to know if there's some settings I could change to up the game speed or if the tournament videos are sped up a tad. Any help would be great! [link] [comments] | ||

| The A.I feels so so so so so much more broken and harder than it was before Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:59 PM PDT For some background I have had the game since day 1 and have went through every update, until after the last dlc pack was finished because I sold my Xbox and got a PS4, so yesterday I picked the game up again and holy shit. So far, within two fights of story, I am so much more annoyed and angry than I have ever been at a game. I remember playing it before many times, again on story, and it wasn't bad, it was fun and challenging, but this? This is the shittiest shit I've fought against, I put reading the nanosecond I even think of a move to do, then to top it off basically draining my health with one combo with no chance of breaking out of it, and then the A.I literally reads my mind and just perfectly baits me to do shit. I cannot win against the second goddamn fight. I only paid $5 since it's on sale but I already am starting to regret buying it again since I know the A.I is even worse in the multiverse. Anyone else notice this or think that something with the A.I drastically changed with one of the last updates for the game that made the difficulty just spike through the roof? [link] [comments] |
